Implementation of the Covid-19 Vaccination Program at Pluit Youth Vocational School

The Covid-19 vaccination program was implemented as an effort to break the chain of spread of Covid-19 which continues to increase in the DKI Jakarta area. The Head of Penjaringan Subdistrict said that the implementation of this vaccination is expected to accelerate vaccination achievements for residents, especially students with a target age of 12 to 17 years. The Principal of Pluit Youth Vocational School, Mrs. Nuryati, S.Pd, hopes that with the implementation of the first dose of vaccination for all students, the number of cases affected by Covid-19 can decrease. Considering the large number of vaccination participants, the school has received and arranged a vaccination schedule for all Pluit Youth Vocational School students. While in the school environment, students receiving vaccines are required to comply with established health protocols and understand the flow of vaccination implementation well. In the vaccination process, participants are required to pass through four service desks, in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Disease Prevention and Control Number HK.02.02/4/1/2021 concerning Technical Instructions for Implementing Vaccination in the Context of Overcoming the Covid-19 Pandemic, with the following flow: First Table (Registration) Participants register and verify data. Second Table (Screening) A health examination includes checking body temperature, blood pressure and general health conditions. Third Table (Vaccine Injection) Health workers administer vaccine injections in accordance with the principles of safe injection. Fourth Table (Observation) Participants are asked to wait approximately 30 minutes for observation in anticipation of an AEFI (Post-Immunization Adverse Event). Health officials from the Penjaringan District Health Center explained that the vaccine given to students was the Sinovac vaccine, and for the second dose, participants had to wait until 28 days after the first vaccine. Vaccination for Pluit Youth Vocational School students was carried out on August 2 2021, at SDN 01 Pluit.
