Adiwiyata Program

The National Education Foundation for Kindergarten Bahagia – SMP – SMK Pemuda Pluit is committed to implementing the Adiwiyata Program, which is a program that aims to encourage the creation of awareness among school residents in efforts to preserve the environment (Green School). Through this program, it is hoped that environmentally caring attitudes and behavior will be formed among all school residents. The activities carried out include: 1. Implement environmentally friendly behavior Save energy, save water, reduce waste and recycle. 2. Integration of environmental issues in learning and extracurricular activities Linking learning material with concern for the environment. 3. Waste management Waste sorting, composting and recycling activities. 4. Greening and maintaining the school environment Planting trees, making gardens, and keeping the school clean. 5. Development of participatory based activities Involve the entire school community in environmental care actions. 6. Development of environmentally friendly supporting facilities Provision of facilities such as segregated waste bins and composters. With the implementation of the Adiwiyata Program, it is hoped that all students, teachers and school residents will be able to get used to caring about the environment and creating a healthy, green and sustainable school atmosphere.
